Alongside Atos Worldline, RSP approached with a need to modernise their ticketing requirements for rail travel.
The existing standard for digital tickets was based on limitations of WAP mobile internet so there was ample opportunity.
The solution was to heavily reference the style of printed tickets but provide a scannable barcode and security tag.
Although mostly phased out, these digital tickets now form what rail staff see when they scan your barcode.
